About The Opportunity

We operate in the Exhibition & Events industry, delivering large-scale trade shows, B2B expos, and corporate events across India. Our teams design commercial strategies that attract exhibitors, sponsors, and partners to create high-impact live experiences for industry communities.Primary title (standardized for search): Business Development Manager - Exhibitions & Events. Location: India (on-site).Role & Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end sales for assigned exhibitions: prospect, qualify, present proposals, close exhibitor and sponsorship deals to meet revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute territory plans to grow pipeline—targeting industry verticals, key accounts, and new market segments across India.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, floor-plan recommendations, and sponsorship decks; negotiate contracts and secure deposits.
  • Collaborate with operations, marketing, and design teams to ensure exhibitor requirements, deadlines, and on-site deliverables are met.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecast revenue, and report on pipeline health, conversion rates, and sales KPIs.
  • Represent the exhibition at pre-event meetings and on-site, delivering high-quality client service and upsell opportunities.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have
  • Proven track record in exhibition or trade-show sales with demonstrable revenue achievements.
  • Strong experience in B2B sales, key account management, and territory development.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and disciplined pipeline management (Salesforce preferred).
  • Ability to create persuasive commercial proposals and negotiate contracts to close deals.
  • Comfortable with frequent on-site engagement across Indian cities and event-day responsibilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience in exhibitions, events, or related sales roles.

Preferred

  • Experience selling sponsorship packages and integrated event marketing solutions.
  • Familiarity with Zoho CRM or other regional CRM platforms.
  • Prior exposure to P&L awareness and event commercial modelling.
