Job Title: Business Development Manager – E-commerce Sales

Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager (E-commerce Sales) is responsible for driving online sales growth through e-commerce platforms, managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and implementing sales strategies to maximize revenue and brand visibility across digital channels.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities on major e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Myntra, etc.).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with marketplace account managers and partners.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, pricing, and promotional strategies to improve profitability.
  • Create and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
  • Manage product listings, pricing updates, and inventory on all e-commerce platforms.
  • Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate terms of business with online partners and distributors.
  • Conduct market research to identify new trends, competitors, and opportunities for online growth.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and performance analytics for management review.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all online channels.


Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, etc.)
  • Excellent business development and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics tools
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, and online merchandising
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strategic thinking with a results-driven approach


Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)

Experience Required:

  • 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce business development, online sales, or account management
