Job Description – Sales (Agency / Banca / Direct Channels) Position: Sales Officer / Business Development Manager / Relationship Manager Channel: Agency / Banca / Direct Sales Location: Multiple Locations Industry: Life Insurance / General Insurance / Health Insurance About the Role We are looking for highly motivated and dynamic professionals to join our sales team across Agency, Banca, and Direct Sales channels. The role involves building relationships, driving insurance business, and achieving sales targets through effective client acquisition, engagement, and retention. Key Responsibilities Agency Channel Recruit, train, and develop insurance advisors/agents. Drive insurance business through the agency network. Motivate agents to achieve individual and team targets. Monitor advisor performance and provide regular guidance. Ensure compliance with company policies and IRDAI guidelines. Banca Channel Build strong relationships with partner bank branch staff. Generate business leads through branch walk-ins, referrals, and bank databases. Conduct joint calls with bank employees to acquire customers. Drive cross-selling of insurance products to existing bank customers. Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets. Direct Channel Identify and acquire new individual customers. Engage with leads generated via digital/marketing campaigns. Conduct customer meetings to understand needs and offer suitable insurance solutions. Maintain long-term relationships with clients to drive renewals and referrals. Focus on high-quality sales with customer satisfaction. Key Skills & Competencies Strong sales and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Ability to build and maintain client/partner relationships. Target-driven with strong problem-solving mindset. Knowledge of insurance products (life/general/health). Eligibility Criteria Education: Graduate / Postgraduate (any stream). Experience: Agency: 3–6 years in any sales Banca: 2–5 years (banking/insurance background). Direct: 1–4 years (field sales, BFSI, Insurance). Age: 22–38 years.
