Role Description

Business Development Intern

Job Responsibilities

Market Research & Lead Generation

• Research target markets, industries, and businesses in need of digital marketing services

• Identify and compile a database of prospective leads with contact details

• Analyse competitor digital marketing agencies to suggest positioning strategies

Client Outreach & Relationship Building

• Assist in drafting outreach emails, proposals, and LinkedIn messages

• Follow up with leads to schedule meetings for business development managers

• Support preparation of presentations and service pitches for potential clients

Sales Strategy Support

• Assist in creating and updating sales decks and service brochures

• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new business strategies and service packages

CRM & Data Management

• Update and maintain lead records, follow-up statuses, and communication logs

• Ensure data accuracy and timely reporting to the business development lead

Continuous Learning & Collaboration

• Stay updated with digital marketing trends, tools, and service offerings (SEO, SMM, PPC, Content, Branding)

• Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to align outreach efforts and service pitches

Skills & Qualifications

Educational Background

🔹 Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)

🔹 Basic understanding of digital marketing services (SEO, social media, ads, content marketing) – training will be provided

🔹 Proactive approach with the ability to take initiative and meet deadlines

🔹 Familiarity with MS Office, Google Workspace, and LinkedIn outreach

🔹 Strong research and analytical skills

🔹 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in remote teams
