Business Development Intern

Paxika is building a 360° platform for culinary entrepreneurs and chefs to get all the essential services and products, all in one place.

We are seeking a motivated professional to support our efforts in expanding Paxika’s network and driving strategic partnerships. This role will provide valuable experience in business development and the food industry while contributing to Paxika’s mission of supporting culinary entrepreneurs and restaurant owners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential partnership opportunities to inform business development strategies.

• Outreach: Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential partners, clients, and stakeholders to promote Paxika’s offerings and build relationships.

• Data Analysis: Analyze market data and metrics to provide insights that will inform strategic decision-making and growth initiatives.

• Support Sales Initiatives: Collaborate with the business development team to prepare presentations, proposals, and reports for potential clients and partners.

• Networking: Attend industry events, webinars, and meetings to represent Paxika and foster connections with potential collaborators.

• Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative tasks related to business development, including scheduling meetings and maintaining databases.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.

• Strong interest in the food industry and business development.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with CRM software is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
