We are hiring for a Jr. Business Development, Sales & Marketing Intern (Unpaid, 6 Months)

Role Overview
This 6-month, unpaid internship is designed for proactive individuals eager to gain hands-on experience across business development, sales, and marketing with a specialized focus on web development and our “Markrate” Vendor Catalogue Portal. Under mentor supervision, the intern will support outreach, lead generation, and integrated marketing campaigns tied to our core services.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Outreach
(a) Research and identify potential clients seeking web development or digital marketing services.
(b) Assist with cold emailing, social media outreach, and follow-ups to nurture leads.
2. Sales Support
(a) Help draft proposals, presentations, and outreach materials tailored to client needs.
(b) Support tracking of the sales pipeline using tools like CRM systems or spreadsheets.
3. Web Development Coordination
(a) Act as a liaison between clients and the web development team.
(b) Collect and organize client briefs, content, feedback, and revisions.
(c) Analyze market trends, competitors, and service gaps to identify opportunities.
(d) Provide strategic insights to strengthen our propositions in web and digital marketing domains.
4. Desired Skills & Qualifications
(a) Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
(b) Strong communication, written and verbal, particularly in outreach and client interactions.
(c) Basic understanding of web development concepts (HTML, CMS, UX principles) or eagerness to learn.
(d) Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace; familiarity with CRM, email marketing, or analytics is a plus.
(e) Passion for digital marketing, creativity, and a proactive, self-starter attitude.
(f) Ability to multitask, stay organized, take initiative, and work collaboratively in a small team setting.
