Job Summary:

We are looking for a goal-oriented and energetic Business Development Executive to join our Solar Rooftop division. The successful candidate will be responsible for lead generation, customer acquisition, and sales of rooftop solar systems, helping clients make the transition to sustainable and cost-effective energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify potential residential, commercial, and industrial customers for rooftop solar systems.
  
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase project acquisition and revenue.
  
• Conduct site assessments and coordinate with the technical team to develop customized solar proposals.
  
• Promote awareness of the benefits of solar rooftop systems through presentations, meetings, and digital campaigns.
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, EPC partners, real estate developers, and government officials.
  
• Understand and explain financial models, ROI, subsidies, and available government schemes to clients.
  
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
  
• Maintain a strong sales funnel and report regularly on performance and projections.
  
• Assist in bid preparation for government or institutional rooftop tenders if required.
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Energy, or related field.
  
• 2–5 years of experience in solar rooftop sales, business development, or energy services.
  
• Strong understanding of rooftop solar systems (On-grid, Off-grid, Hybrid) and the regulatory landscape.
  
• Familiarity with MNRE guidelines, net metering policies, and state subsidy programs.
  
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  
• Proficient in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
