Business Development Executive in Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and research potential clients including EdTech companies, schools, publishers, coaching centers, and corporates
• Generate new business leads through email campaigns, cold calling, LinkedIn networking, and attending industry events
• Understand client requirements related to content creation for K12, higher education, and vocational training
• Pitch customized content development services such as eLearning videos, curriculum design, and instructional design
• Conduct virtual or in-person presentations and product demos for decision-makers
• Collaborate with internal teams including content, design, and project managers to create proposals and quotations
• Handle negotiations and close deals while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction
• Stay updated on EdTech trends, digital learning formats, and competitors' offerings
• Share client feedback with internal teams to align services with market demand
• Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to the leadership team
  

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, education, or a related field
• Possess 0–6 months of experience in B2B sales, preferably in EdTech, eLearning, or content services
• Demonstrate strong understanding of educational content formats and digital learning trends
• Exhibit excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Understand client requirements and translate them into creative solutions
• Be proficient in using CRM software and MS Office tools
