Business Development Executive / Sales Lead

Inside Sales Job Type: Full-Time
Work Mode: On-site
Shift: General Shift

Compensation

Salary will be based on the candidate’s previous salary, experience, and interview performance. Attractive incentives and performance-based bonuses may apply.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Lead Generation

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, outbound calling, emails, and follow-ups
  • Qualify leads, understand customer requirements, and present company products/services effectively
  • Convert prospects into customers while maintaining strong conversion rates
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of calls, leads, follow-ups, and closures using CRM tools

Customer Communication & Mail Handling

  • Handle professional email communication with prospects and clients
  • Draft, send, and follow up on sales emails, proposals, and quotations
  • Respond to customer inquiries via email in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain proper email documentation and communication history

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with potential and existing clients
  • Address customer queries, objections, and concerns efficiently
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups

Target & Performance Management

  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
  • Track personal sales performance and continuously improve results
  • For Sales Lead role:
  • Monitor team performance and guide team members
  • Support the team in closing deals and managing key accounts

Team Leadership (For Sales Lead Role)

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team
  • Assign and manage leads effectively
  • Conduct sales meetings, reviews, and performance discussions

Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports using CRM and internal tools
  • Coordinate with marketing, operations, and support teams for smooth sales execution
  • Share market trends, customer feedback, and competitor insights with management

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, cold calling, and lead generation
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools (lead management, tracking, reporting)
  • Strong email handling and professional mail communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Negotiation, persuasion, and closing abilities
  • Leadership and team-handling skills (mandatory for Sales Lead role)
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and result-oriented

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with popular CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Familiarity with email tools and automation systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment
