Job Description

Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities

Identify and generate new business opportunities for software products and solutions
Research target markets, industries, and potential clients
Pitch company products through calls, emails, meetings, and demos
Understand client requirements and propose suitable product solutions
Coordinate with product, technical, and pre-sales teams for demos and proposals
Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and close deals
Maintain CRM records and track leads, conversions, and sales pipelines
Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and partners
Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and product enhancements

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field
2–5 years of experience in business development or sales in a software / SaaS company
Strong understanding of product-based software or SaaS sales
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Experience with lead generation, client handling, and deal closure
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales pipelines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills

Experience selling SaaS, ERP, HRMS, CRM, or enterprise software products
Knowledge of IT services, cloud solutions, or digital products
Experience in international or B2B sales is a plus
