Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify potential customers including farmers, FPOs, agri businesses, government bodies, and agri dealers.
  • Generate leads, prepare proposals, and deliver product demonstrations to showcase drone capabilities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and channel partners for awareness campaigns, exhibitions, and field demos.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth in the agriculture drone segment.

Service & Technical Support

  • Conduct installation, calibration, and commissioning of agriculture drones.
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure fleet readiness.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients for smooth operations.
  • Maintain service records, inventory, and spare parts management.

Operations & Training

  • Support drone deployment for spraying, seeding, and mapping operations.
  • Conduct pilot training programs for customers and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with DGCA and RPTO guidelines during operations.
  • Coordinate with the projects team for scheduling and execution of agri drone jobs.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Act as the first point of contact for customer queries and escalations.
  • Gather feedback, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Agriculture, Engineering, or Business

    (preferred).
  • Certification in

    Drone Pilot Training (Small/Agri category)

    from a DGCA-approved RPTO is an advantage.
  • 0–2years of experience in

    sales, technical service, or drone operations

    (agriculture preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of agriculture practices, drone spraying, and agri-tech solutions.
  • Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with TN Farmers and Society.
  • Ability to travel frequently for demos, operations, and client support.
