Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify new target industries, companies, and decision-makers requiring packaging solutions (e.g., corrugated boxes, flexible packaging, industrial containers).
  • Execute proactive outbound sales activities including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking to generate a robust pipeline of new leads.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and B2B events to build professional networks and source new business opportunities.
  • Take full ownership of the sales cycle from initial contact and qualification through to contract negotiation and closing the first order.
  • Client Relationship & Sales Strategy

  • Consult with potential clients to thoroughly understand their product, supply chain, and packaging needs (technical specifications, cost targets, sustainability goals)
  • Create and deliver compelling, customized sales presentations and proposals that clearly articulate the value proposition of our packaging solutions.
  • Lead contract and pricing negotiations to ensure profitable sales deals while achieving mutual client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Design, Production, and Estimating teams to ensure all proposed packaging solutions are technically feasible, cost-effective, and meet client specifications.
  • Performance & Reporting

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for new client acquisition and revenue generation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, activity logs, and opportunity stages within the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and analysis of market trends for senior management.

Required Skills

  • Good communication and people skills
  • Basic knowledge of packaging products
  • Computer skills (Excel, Email, CRM)
  • Experience in B2B sales is a plus
