Job Description

Job Role-

The Business Development Consultant – IT will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and managing client relationships, and promoting the company’s IT products/services. The role involves lead generation, client meetings (online/offline), proposal creation, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities-

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the IT domain (products / services / solutions).
  • Generate leads through cold calling, emailing, networking, LinkedIn, events, and references.
  • Understand client requirements and present suitable IT solutions / services.
  • Conduct meetings, demos, and presentations (online/offline) with prospective clients.
  • Prepare and share proposals, quotations, and commercial offers in coordination with the technical team.
  • Follow up on proposals, handle negotiations, and close deals to achieve sales targets.
  • Maintain strong relationship with existing and potential clients for repeat / referral business.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (technical, delivery, support) to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain and update CRM / sales reports / MIS on a regular basis.
  • Keep track of market trends, competitors, and customer needs in the IT sector.

Candidate Requirements-

  • Experience:
  • [1–4 years] in IT sales / business development / software / ERP/ IT services.
  • Skills:
  • Good understanding of IT products/services (e.g., software solutions, ERP, cloud, web development, IT services – edit as per your company).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships, negotiate and close deals.
  • Comfortable with targets, client meetings and follow-ups.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office / CRM tools.
  • Qualification:
  • Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA in Marketing / IT preferred but not mandatory).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
