Business Development Associate

Key Responsibilities

1. New Business Acquisition

• Identify and target contractors, builders, infrastructure companies, and project sites for equipment rental opportunities.
• Conduct site visits and meet purchase managers, project engineers, and site in-charges.
• Generate leads through field visits, cold calls, and industry networking.
• Present company services and rental solutions to potential clients.

2. Client Relationship Management

• Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients and ensure repeat rentals.
• Understand client requirements for equipment type, duration, and on-site conditions.
• Provide quick resolutions to client issues and coordinate with operations/maintenance teams.

3. Sales & Revenue Growth

• Meet monthly/quarterly sales targets for rental equipment.
• Prepare commercial proposals and negotiate rental rates.
• Close deals and ensure timely documentation, agreements, and purchase orders.

4. Market Research & Competitor Analysis

• Track market trends, project pipelines, and new construction activities.
• Gather competitor pricing and service offerings.
• Identify new growth opportunities within assigned territory.

5. Coordination with Operations Team

• Coordinate equipment delivery, mobilization, and demobilization with logistics.
• Ensure timely deployment and availability of machines as promised to clients.
• Follow up for payment collection, invoice submission, and documentation.

6. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain daily visit reports, lead status, and client feedback.
• Update CRM/Excel with enquiry status and pipeline.
• Submit weekly and monthly business development reports to management.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong field sales skills with experience in industrial or construction sector.
• Good understanding of construction equipment
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with contractors and site teams.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable travelling to project sites.
• Basic understanding of rental agreements, pricing, and commercial terms.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
