Job Description

The employee will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key HORECA clients, including hotels, restaurants, cafes, and catering companies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, a deep understanding of the food service industry, and a passion for our products. This role requires a self-starter with excellent communication and negotiation skills who can effectively identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:
  • Actively prospect and acquire new HORECA accounts, focusing on establishing and growing sales of our ketchup and mayonnaise product lines.
  • Conduct product presentations and tastings to demonstrate the quality and value of our sauces to potential clients.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale to secure new business and increase market share.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Account Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing HORECA clients.
  • Regularly visit clients to understand their needs, provide product updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Address any client issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Work closely with the logistics and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Market Intelligence & Reporting:
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments within the HORECA sector.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and competitive analysis to the sales manager.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date client database and sales pipeline.
  • Product Knowledge:
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our full range of sauces, including their ingredients, applications, and unique selling propositions.
  • Educate clients on the benefits of using our products, such as quality, consistency, and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of [Number] years of experience in HORECA sales, with a strong focus on food products (sauces, condiments, etc., is a plus).
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
