Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Consultant specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and LS Central, with strong AL programming skills and proven expertise in third-party integrations such as Shopify and SBI. The ideal candidate will have a track record of delivering similar projects, handling end-to-end technical development, and supporting complex business requirements in retail and FMCG domains.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Design, develop, and implement customizations, extensions, and integrations in Dynamics 365 Business Central and LS Central using AL programming language.

·        Lead and execute integration projects with third-party platforms, especially Shopify (e-commerce) and Payment/banking systems, ensuring seamless data flow and business process automation.

·        Design, develop, and maintain robust API integrations with third-party systems (POS, e-commerce, payment gateways, logistics, etc.), ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable connectivity between Business Central/LS Central and external platforms.

·        Collaborate closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and external partners to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver robust solutions.

·        Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues related to Business Central, LS Central, and integrated systems.

·        Develop technical documentation, user manuals, and training materials for customizations and integrations.

·        Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

·        Support application updates, hotfixes, and upgrades for existing customers.

·        Validate functionality against business requirements and ensure data integrity across systems.

·        Provide technical recommendations for installation, modifications, and enhancements to optimize system performance.

·        Stay updated with the latest trends in AL development, Business Central, LS Central, and integration technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

·        4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or LS Central, including technical development and support.

·        Strong proficiency in AL programming; knowledge of C/AL is a plus.

·        Demonstrated experience with Shopify integration (product sync, order management, inventory, etc.), Urbanpiper and SBI or other payment/banking system integrations.

·        Strong capability in API development and integration (REST, SOAP, JSON, OData), including designing, consuming, and troubleshooting APIs for system interoperability.

·        Good understanding of retail business processes and LS Central modules.

·        Familiarity with HTML5, JavaScript, or C# is an advantage.

·        Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

·        Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

·        Experience in documenting technical solutions and providing user training.

Preferred/Desirable:

·        Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications.

·        Experience with other ISV solutions for Business Central.

·        Exposure to international implementation projects and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

·        Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and reporting tools.
