Business Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst with expertise in Power BI, SQL, and analytics to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a solid background in data modeling, dashboard optimization, and business intelligence to support our analytics efforts. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with international teams and presenting insights to leadership.

Skills:

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, manage, and optimize interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.

- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various sources (Snowflake, etc.)

- Use DAX querying to enhance Power BI reports and derive actionable insights.

- Collaborate with overseas teams to understand data requirements and deliver on project goals.

- Present data-driven insights and visualizations to leadership, enabling informed decision- making.

- Define and implement efficient data models to streamline reporting processes. - Monitor the performance of dashboards, fine-tune and optimize for efficiency.

The worker will be required to work from Hyderabad office at least 2 days in a week.

Flexible work hours, but will over lap with US hours.

Interview Process - 3 Rounds

Required Skills:

- Expertise in Power BI, including data modeling and dashboard creation.

- Proficient in SQL for complex querying, data extraction, and transformation across multiple sources.

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for reporting and presentations.

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in analytics and reporting. - Proficiency in DAX querying for advanced Power BI functionality.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Snowflake for cloud data warehousing. - Background working with the ServiceNow platform.

- Familiarity with programming languages such as R or Python for advanced data manipulation and analysis.

Additional Skills:

- Ability to collaborate effectively with overseas teams and manage cross-functional communications.

- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to senior leadership.

- Understanding of channel business models and ecosystems is a plus.

- Proven ability to define and implement efficient data models for scalable reporting solutions.

- Experience in connecting and integrating multiple data sources for business intelligence. - Performance monitoring and optimization skills for Power BI dashboards

Education:

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. - Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering impactful data-driven insights.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
