Job Description

Role - Business Analyst (Payments)

Project Location: Pune, Chennai, Bangalore (Hybrid)

Hiring mode : C2H (Contract of 12 months initially and then client will hire them on fulltime)

Responsibilities

Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights supporting business decisions.
Develop and execute SQL queries to validate data and support analytics.
Work closely with developers, QA, and product owners to ensure requirements are accurately implemented.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Manage project tracking and progress using JIRA.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with business needs.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
Strong experience within the banking domain, specifically in
Payments, Liquidity, or Trade Finance
.
Proficiency in writing and understanding SQL queries.
Hands-on experience in Agile project environments and using JIRA.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
