Job Description

Location: Hyderabad Department: Information Technology (IT) Reports To: IT Project Manager / IT Director / Product Owner Employment Type: [Full-time] Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient IT Business Analyst to support our IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and ensuring that technology solutions align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements. Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for development and testing teams. Facilitate communication between business users and IT teams during the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Conduct gap analyses, impact assessments, and feasibility studies for new or modified systems. Create and maintain business process models, workflows, data models, and use cases. Assist in system design, testing (including UAT), and post-implementation support. Ensure that IT solutions meet business needs and comply with regulatory and security standards. Prepare detailed documentation, such as business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional specification documents (FSDs). Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, standups) or Waterfall project phases as required. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. 1+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT environment. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT systems. Familiarity with requirement-gathering tools like JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or Azure DevOps. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, data analysis, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
