Business Analyst

The ideal candidate is a team player who will be responsible to gather business requirements from Customer for implementation and enhancements to Product. The candidate should be able to prepare functional requirement specifications based on Customer’s requirements. The ideal candidate should be open to preparing test cases based on requirements. In addition, liaise with offshore team to explain requirements, conduct implementation, configurations in the system as per Customer requirement, clarify questions from both Customer IT team and Offshore development team, explain and demonstrate product functionalities to Customer team, triage and analyze production issues and prepare work around / solution, test implementation and code fixes prior to delivery for UAT, coordinate and communicate with Customer IT team on day-to-day business and manage customer relationships through the engagements, with a focus on building sustained partnerships

• Have a very high client focus, rapidly able to build relationships and credibility and to provide an excellent service for the client being both sensitive and responsive to their needs
• Experience of serving as a subject matter expert in the core operations of a Property and Casualty Insurance Carrier
• Flexible work schedule, depending on project
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships

Qualifications

• BE or B.Tech & MBA in System, Finance, and IT
• Other domain and technical certification
• Experience of 1-3 years working on Insurance Software Application

Technical Skills

• UMLTools, Query language

• Strong written and oral communication skills - Highly preferred if the candidate has fluency in speaking Tamil.
