bTranz - Oracle EBS Technical Consultant/Developer

Key Design & Development Design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions for Oracle EBS modules, including but not limited to Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CE), SCM (PO, OM, INV), HRMS, and Projects. Develop and customize RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Workflows) components using Oracle development tools. Translate functional design documents (FDDs) into detailed technical design documents (TDDs). Customization & Enhancement Perform customizations and extensions to Oracle EBS applications using Oracle Forms, Reports, XML Publisher (BI Publisher), Oracle Application Framework (OAF), and Oracle Workflow. Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers. Work with Oracle APIs and standard interfaces for data integration. Integration Develop and support integrations between Oracle EBS and other internal/external systems. Utilize various integration methods including Web Services, APIs, flat files, and database links. Performance Tuning & Optimization Analyze and optimize the performance of existing Oracle EBS customizations, reports, and interfaces. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle EBS applications. Support & Maintenance Provide ongoing technical support, maintenance, and enhancements for Oracle EBS applications. Participate in system upgrades, patches, and migrations. Conduct thorough unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support user acceptance testing (UAT). Documentation & Best Practices Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and deployment guides. Adhere to best practices for coding, development standards, and security. Collaboration & Mentorship Collaborate effectively with functional consultants, business analysts, project managers, and end-users. Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge. Technical Skills Required Core Oracle EBS Technologies : SQL & PL/SQL : Expert-level proficiency in writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers. Strong understanding of performance tuning for SQL and PL/SQL. Oracle Forms & Reports : Extensive experience in developing, modifying, and troubleshooting custom Forms and Reports. XML Publisher (BI Publisher) : Strong experience in developing complex reports using XML Publisher, including data models, RTF templates, and bursting. Oracle Application Framework (OAF) : Solid experience in OAF page development, extensions, personalizations, and controller class modifications. Oracle Workflow : Experience in designing, developing, and customizing Oracle Workflows. EBS Modules Expertise In-depth technical knowledge of at least 2-3 core Oracle EBS modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, PO, OM, INV, HRMS, Projects). Integration Technologies Experience with Oracle APIs, Open Interfaces, and Interface Tables. Familiarity with Web Services (SOAP/REST) integration within an Oracle EBS environment. Knowledge of Concurrent Programs and Request Sets. Tools & Utilities SQL Developer, Toad, or similar database tools. Version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN). Basic understanding of Linux/Unix shell Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7-10 years of dedicated experience as an Oracle EBS Technical Consultant/Developer. Proven track record of successful Oracle EBS implementations, upgrades, and support projects. Preferred Skills Experience with Oracle EBS R12.2.x versions. Knowledge of Oracle Discoverer or other reporting tools. Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Middleware (SOA Suite, OSB). Exposure to Oracle Apex. Oracle certifications are a plus.
