In the Senior Associate role, you’ll solve complex problems, mentor junior team members, and uphold high standards to deliver impactful solutions while cultivating strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes using SSIS to support Guidewire data migration and integration initiatives.
- Perform data analysis, profiling, and validation to ensure data quality and consistency across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and related systems.
- Lead and support data conversion activities using Guidewire Policy Migration Tool (PMT) and Claim Migration Tool (CMT).
- Collaborate with functional, technical, and client stakeholders to define data mapping, transformation, and migration strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues during SIT, UAT, and production cutover.
- Provide hyper-care support post-implementation to ensure smooth transition and client satisfaction.
- Adhere to data governance, compliance, and security standards while delivering migration solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices in data development.
What You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 4–6 years of experience in data development, ETL, and data migration, with at least 2+ years on Guidewire data conversion projects.
- Solid understanding of Guidewire Core data models (Policy, Billing, Claims, and Contact Manager).
- Proven ability to handle large-scale data migration and transformation projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SQL development.
- Experience in Guidewire data conversion projects with PMT (Policy Migration Tool) and CMT (Claim Migration Tool).
What Sets You Apart
- Exposure to other ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, ADF, Talend, etc.).
- Knowledge of Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers) and Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) concepts.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum project delivery.
- Insurance industry domain knowledge.
