Job Summary

We are seeking a Branch Service In-Charge for our Coimbatore branch to handle end-to-end service operations. The role focuses on coordinating service engineers, managing attendance and service routes within the Coimbatore service area, ensuring spare parts availability, and maintaining high service quality through effective customer coordination and operational control.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Engineer Coordination

• Monitor daily attendance, leave, and availability of service engineers at the Coimbatore branch
• Allocate service routes based on area coverage and service load
• Control and track field movement to ensure timely service completion
• Review job cards, daily closures, and engineer productivity

Service Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day service operations for Coimbatore and nearby assigned locations
• Coordinate with engineers to resolve technical issues and service delays
• Ensure service calls meet defined turnaround time (TAT) and quality standards
• Support smooth execution of installations, repairs, and follow-up visits

Spare Parts & Inventory Management

• Maintain branch-level spare parts stock and ensure minimum inventory levels
• Track inward, outward, and usage of spares
• Coordinate with central stores or warehouses for timely replenishment
• Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of spares

Customer Care & Service Support

• Handle escalated customer complaints from the Coimbatore region
• Coordinate with customer care teams for service allocation, follow-ups, and closures
• Ensure clear communication with customers regarding service status and timelines
• Work towards improving customer satisfaction and repeat service quality

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily and monthly reports on service performance, attendance, and spares
• Maintain service records, engineer logs, complaint details, and customer feedback
• Share operational updates with management as required

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in home appliance service operations or customer care support
• Experience in coordinating field service engineers and managing service routes
• Working knowledge of spare parts handling and basic inventory control
• Exposure to customer complaint handling and service escalation management
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills (Excel, service software, reporting tools)

Preferred Background

• Experience servicing LED TVs, sound systems, induction cookers, air fryers, and other small or large home appliances
• Prior experience as a Service coordinator, Service Supervisor, or Branch Service Executive in a service center or authorized service setup
• Familiarity with Coimbatore service areas and customer expectations is an added advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
