Job Description

Role Overview: As a Branch Manager in the Retail Banking department, your main responsibility will be to manage and scale up the retail banking business for the branch. You will create strategies to achieve growth targets by efficiently managing operations and resources. Developing relationships with key local dealers and working closely with them to boost business volume will be crucial. Additionally, you will be accountable for expanding branch footprint, increasing product penetration, and delivering high-quality customer service. Collaboration with product and operations teams to drive effective customer acquisition and deepening will also be a key aspect of your role. Building teams, systems, processes, and a branch network culture will contribute significantly to the larger branch banking objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Own the P&L for the branch and oversee all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, administration, and sales - Assess local market conditions and identify sales opportunities - Achieve overall product targets including CASA, Investments, Insurance, Trade Services, and TD while managing group business products - Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices and business opportunities - Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations and laws - Network to enhance the presence and reputation of the branch and company - Stay updated on competing markets and provide reports on market movement - Establish the Bank and the brand in the catchment area - Cultivate relationships with individual and corporate customers - Spearhead manpower planning, recruitment, and training processes for employees - Provide training, coaching, development, and guidance to branch personnel - Evaluate new initiatives for operational efficiency and ensure implementation - Collaborate with other branch departments to provide product and service offerings to customers Qualifications: - Graduate in any discipline - Post Graduate in MBA Finance Experience: - Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in Banking or allied Business Key Success Metrics: - CA/SA and TD growth targets - Customer Acquisition targets - Product Cross-Sell targets,
