Job Description – Branch Head
Position: Branch Head
Location: Kottayam, Kochi, Kannur
Experience Required: Min. 3 years of experience, worked as Branch Head or Branch Manager of Reputed Bank.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Branch Head to lead branch operations, drive sales, manage staff, and ensure compliance with financial standards. The right candidate should have a proven background in finance and branch management, with strong leadership and business development skills to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
· Branch Operations Management: Oversee the daily functioning of the branch, ensuring smooth operations, proper workflow, and compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Prior experience in branch management is mandatory.
· Business Growth & Sales: Create and execute strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets. Actively promote financial products/services, identify new business opportunities, and build strong market presence. A financial background is required to effectively handle these responsibilities.
· Team Leadership & Development: Lead, guide, and motivate staff to achieve business objectives. Provide regular coaching, monitor performance, and foster a culture of accountability and teamwork.
· Customer Service Excellence: Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing client needs effectively, resolving escalations, and building long-term client relationships to improve retention and loyalty.
· Financial Planning & Reporting: Manage branch budgets, control expenses, and monitor profitability. Prepare regular financial and operational reports to support management decisions.
· Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that all activities comply with regulatory requirements, audits, and internal policies to minimize risks and safeguard the organization’s reputation.
Skills Required
· Financial background and prior branch management experience (Mandatory)
· Strong leadership and team management abilities.
· In-depth knowledge of financial services, sales, and operations.
· Proven ability in business development and achieving sales targets.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
· Strong decision-making and analytical thinking.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities effectively.
