Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Identify and approach bookstores, distributors, academic institutions, and corporates for bulk and retail book sales.
Develop and maintain relationships with existing distribution partners and explore new business opportunities.
Execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Coordinate with publishers, printers, and logistics partners for smooth order fulfillment and inventory management.
Negotiate pricing, discounts, and promotional tie-ups with retail and corporate buyers.
Maintain sales records, generate reports, and provide insights on market trends and customer preferences.
Represent the company at book fairs, exhibitions, and industry events to promote titles and build visibility.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
2 to 5 years of experience in sales, publishing, or distribution (book industry preferred).
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
Understanding of retail, institutional, and online sales channels.
