As a part of our team specializing in anti-counterfeiting investigations and conducting raids on behalf of major publishers and clients across India, we are searching for passionate individuals well-versed in the books and publishing market. We are expanding our anti-piracy operations and seek individuals with hands-on experience in book sales, publishing, or book distribution, ideally those familiar with how books are sold and circulated throughout India. Candidates knowledgeable about book piracy and publishing networks will be given preference. Your role will involve conducting on-ground market investigations to identify counterfeit book markets, gathering intelligence on the manufacturing, printing, storage, and sale of fake books, developing actionable insights, and identifying locations for enforcement actions. Collaboration with clients and enforcement teams to execute anti-counterfeiting raids will be crucial, requiring extensive travel across India to conduct field investigations. Detailed field reports and evidence maintenance for each case will also fall under your responsibilities. We are seeking individuals with a strong understanding of book distribution and publishing networks, previous experience in book sales or working with publishing houses, and a field-oriented mindset willing to work on-ground and gather intelligence. Comfort with extensive travel, sometimes on short notice, will be essential for this role.
