This is a full-time position focused on overseeing the efficient operation of the body shop, ensuring quality repairs, vendor coordination, and the highest levels of customer service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership qualities and have deep industry knowledge relevant to vehicle bodywork and team management. Qualifications and Skills Comprehensive expertise in vehicle body building, including repair, restoration, and maintenance procedures for commercial vehicles. Demonstrated experience in vendor management, including sourcing, negotiating, and evaluating third-party service providers. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks, schedule repairs efficiently, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Ability to handle police case documentation and legal compliance aspects involved in accident or insurance-related repairs professionally. Outstanding communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members, customers, and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and satisfaction. Proficiency in problem handling, including troubleshooting repair issues, resolving customer complaints, and managing challenging situations calmly. Sound knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with relevant standards. Leadership skills to supervise, train, and motivate workshop staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing workplace culture. Roles and Responsibilities Oversee all daily operations in the body shop, including scheduling, workflow, staff allocation, and quality assurance for repairs. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of parts and effective outsourcing of specialized services when required. Manage documentation related to police cases, insurance claims, and compliance, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of sensitive matters. Provide expert guidance on vehicle body building, repair techniques, and restoration processes for commercial vehicles. Address and resolve operational problems swiftly, minimizing downtime and ensuring customer expectations are consistently met. Foster professional communication with customers to explain repairs, provide estimates, and ensure clarity throughout the repair process. Implement time management strategies, monitor progress of ongoing work, and take corrective action to prevent delays in delivery. Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and promote ongoing staff training to uphold workplace safety and service quality.
