WE are a Cardiology super specialty hospital with an integrated laboratory, 2 Cathlabs, 3 Operation theatres and host of bio medical equipments and gadgets in running the hospital.
We are looking for a SENIOR BIOMEDICAL ENGINEER WITH NOT LESS THAN 15 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN A MULTI SPECIALTY / TERTIARY CARE Hospital.
The primary Job responsibilities of the incumbent candidate are as follows:-
Installation, calibration, and preventive maintenance of all biomedical equipment across OTs, Cath Labs, ICU, CCU, and wards as per manufacturer and NABH guidelines.
Daily equipment rounds in Cath Labs, OTs, ICU, and ER to ensure optimal functioning and zero downtime.
Troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repair of medical equipment including ventilators, monitors, infusion pumps, C-arms, anesthesia workstations, and cardiology devices.
Maintenance of Cath Lab equipment including hemodynamic recorders, contrast injectors, imaging systems, and crash cart devices.
Maintenance oversight of OT equipment such as OT tables, lights, anesthesia machines, perfusion equipment, diathermy units, and surgical instruments.
Coordination with OEMs, vendors, and service partners for AMC/CMC, breakdown calls, and equipment servicing.
Validation, calibration, and documentation of all equipment as per NABH/NABL compliance, including logbooks and equipment history records.
Asset management – tagging, inventory updating, asset tracking, and lifecycle management of all biomedical devices.
Technical evaluation of new equipment, participation in purchase committees, and providing comparative analysis for procurement decisions.
Monitoring consumables and spare parts, ensuring availability for critical equipment (OT/Cath Lab).
Ensuring biomedical safety protocols including electrical safety checks, leakage current testing, and radiation safety coordination.
Assisting clinicians and nursing teams with equipment operation, training, and providing on-call technical support during surgeries and Cath Lab procedures.
Downtime reporting, MIS preparation, and KPI monitoring for equipment performance and budgeting.
Ensuring disposal of biomedical waste equipment in line with hospital and statutory guidelines.
Supporting hospital expansion, renovation, or commissioning projects by planning biomedical layouts, utilities, and equipment installations

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
