Billing Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Billing Engineer to manage and prepare all bills, measurements, documentation, BOQ, rate analysis, and cost-related data for civil construction works. The role involves coordination with site teams, contractors, clients, and accounts to ensure accurate and timely billing

Key Responsibilities:

1. Measurement & Quantity Verification

• Take accurate 

  site measurements

   for all civil works.
• Prepare 

  measurement sheets

  , 

  abstract sheets

  , and supporting documents.
• Verify quantities executed at site and cross-check with drawings & specifications.

2. Billing & Certification

• Prepare 

  RA Bills

  , 

  Running Contractor Bills

  , and 

  Final Bills

  .
• Support in 

  client billing

  , follow-ups, and documentation.
• Maintain bill-wise records, certification forms, and approval sheets.

3. BOQ & Costing Work

• Assist in 

  BOQ preparation

  , 

  quantity take-offs

  , and 

  rate analysis

  .
• Update material consumption sheets and cost-control reports.
• Support in budget preparation and cost monitoring.

4. Drawing & Document Management

• Read and interpret 

  construction/GFC drawings

  .
• Prepare 

  BBS

   (Bar Bending Schedule) if required.
• Maintain organized billing files, measurement records, joint measurement books (JMB), and contract documents.

5. Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, supervisors, and the accounts team.
• Assist in preparation of 

  DPR/WPR

   related to quantities & billing.
• Provide data for audits and internal checks.

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of 

  Billing, QS, BOQ, Measurement & Costing

• Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, MS Office

• Good understanding of civil works, specifications & contracts

• Good communication, documentation & analytical skills

• Ability to handle multiple bills and meet deadlines

Qualification

• Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

• Experience in any civil construction projects

   preferred
