Billing And Accounts Executive

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our pharmaceutical distribution team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, including billing using Marg ERP software, GST compliance, payment follow-ups, and maintaining accurate financial records. Basic knowledge of taxation, proficiency in MS Excel, and experience in pharmaceutical distribution accounting will be an added advantage. Billing & Invoicing using Marg Software for pharmaceutical products. Maintain sales and purchase records in compliance with accounting standards. Prepare and file GST returns (monthly/quarterly) and ensure timely GST payments. Perform payment follow-ups with clients and ensure timely collections. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management. Record journal entries, reconcile bank statements, and manage petty cash. Maintain accurate stock and inventory records in coordination with the warehouse. Assist in preparing documents for audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Keep updated with changes in taxation and GST regulations. Support in other accounting and administrative tasks as required. Experience: 1–3 years of accounting experience (preferably in pharmaceutical distribution). Knowledge: Marg Software, Basic taxation, GST filing, and compliance. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication skills for payment follow-up and coordination. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Work Schedule Days: Monday to Saturday Timings: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (or as per company policy)
