Billing And Accounts Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our growing finance team in Chennai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and contributing to the overall financial health of the company. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in Tally ERP.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Process invoices, bills, payments, and expense reports accurately and efficiently.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial records regularly.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Tally ERP.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and errors.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding accounting matters.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Must have: Proven proficiency in Tally ERP.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of GST and other statutory compliance requirements is a plus.
