Bid Manager

Key Responsibilities

Bid Management & Strategy

Lead and manage the full lifecycle of bids, RFPs, RFQs, and tenders.

Analyze tender requirements and develop bid strategies aligned with company objectives.

Coordinate internal stakeholders (sales, delivery, finance, legal, and technical teams) to gather necessary inputs.

Manage bid schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely submission.

Proposal Development

Develop high-quality, persuasive, and customer-focused proposals.

Ensure proposals comply with client requirements and company standards.

Write, edit, and proofread bid content; ensure consistency and clarity in messaging.

Tailor standard proposal content to fit specific client needs and technical scopes.

Commercial & Risk Management

Work with finance to prepare accurate pricing, cost estimation, and profitability analysis.

Identify and mitigate commercial, technical, and contractual risks.

Ensure bids adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and compliance standards.

Post-Bid Activities

Conduct bid reviews and debriefs to capture lessons learned.

Maintain bid libraries, templates, and knowledge databases for future use.

Track win/loss ratios and continuously improve bidding processes.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

Master’s degree (MBA) preferred.

Experience:

5+ years of experience in bid management, proposal writing, or tender coordination within an IT or technology services company.

Proven track record of managing and winning complex bids and tenders.

Experience with public sector and/or international bids is an advantage.
