Vmware Engineer

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities: You will be part of an experienced and highly motivated VMware team and you shall be responsible for: - Installation, configuration and management/maintenance of VMware vSphere ESXi, vCenter, vROPS, vSphere Replication, SRM, vSAN and NSX-T. - Installation, configuration and management of backup solutions like Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup, etc. - Taking ownership and accountability for individual/technical deliverables. - Proactively define project requirements / issues / constraints / risks and address them with PMs - Effectively collaborate within different product work streams within the team and with Business units, identify current gaps, and find a way to bridge them - Providing technical documentation to the PM on the projects and tasks. We expect the candidate to: - Have completed graduation - 4+ years of work experience - Have hands-on experience with VMware and backup products - Have a deep understanding of server and storage architecture. - Hands on Knowledge on EMC Storage is a Plus. - Have a deep understanding of VMware products - Have a VCP and VCAP certificate.
