It Project Manager Lead

Job Summary:

IT Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple IT infrastructure and cybersecurity projects simultaneously.
  
• Develop project scopes, objectives, and schedules in collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders.
  
• Track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and security requirements.
  

Technical & Infrastructure Oversight:

• Coordinate deployment, maintenance, and upgrades of network, server, and storage systems.
  
• Work closely with IT operations to ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.
  
• Manage vendors, service providers, and external partners to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
  

Cybersecurity Focus:

• Support implementation of cybersecurity controls, policies, and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
  
• Coordinate vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and remediation tracking.
  
• Assist in incident response coordination and reporting.
  
• Promote security awareness and compliance across teams.
  

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, reports, and change logs.
  
• Provide regular updates to management on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  
• 4+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure and/or cybersecurity projects.
  
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud, storage) and cybersecurity principles.
  
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project, Trello).
  
• Basic familiarity with ITIL processes and cybersecurity standards (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, etc.).
  
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM certification (or in progress).
  
• CompTIA Security+, CISM, or equivalent cybersecurity certification.
  
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  
• Exposure to SIEM, endpoint security, and vulnerability management tools.
