Position Overview:

Bid Manager Presales

Key Responsibilities:

1. Bid Management:

  • Lead the complete bid lifecycle including evaluation of RFPs/RFQs, documentation, solution design coordination, and final submission.
  • Ensure all proposals are compliant with tender requirements, company policies, and quality standards.
  • Maintain a centralized repository of bids, templates, and reference documents.
  • Track and manage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder inputs to ensure timely bid submission.

2. Presales & Proposal Development:

  • Collaborate with sales, technical, finance, and delivery teams to design competitive and compliant solutions.
  • Prepare persuasive proposals, presentations, and response documents highlighting Innovatiview’s capabilities and value proposition.
  • Develop executive summaries, project plans, and pricing structures in alignment with organizational strategy.
  • Support business development team in client presentations, demonstrations, and clarifications during the evaluation phase.

3. Team Management:

  • Manage and mentor a team of presales and bid executives to ensure efficient workflow and continuous improvement.
  • Allocate responsibilities, review deliverables, and ensure adherence to bid standards and submission timelines.

4. Government Ecosystem Understanding:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of government procurement policies, tendering procedures, and relevant digital/e-governance initiatives.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key government stakeholders, departments, and technology partners.
  • Monitor upcoming opportunities on government procurement portals (e.g., GeM, CPPP, state portals).

5. Process Improvement & Reporting:

  • Implement best practices in bid management and documentation.
  • Track bid performance metrics, win-loss ratios, and feedback for process enhancement.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of government tendering processes and bid documentation.
  • Excellent proposal writing and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and online procurement portals, Strong analytical and project management abilities.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Team leadership and multitasking capabilities.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business / Management or equivalent.
  • MBA or PGDM preferred.
  • Experience:

    8–10 years in bid management or presales, with significant exposure to government projects and Team Management.
  • Prior experience in handling large-scale government RFPs, tenders, or e-governance projects will be an added advantage.
