Job Description (JD) - Sales and Bid Assistant

Position Title: Sales and Bid Assistant (Grade 1)

Department: Sales & Bid Management

Reports To: Reports To: Bid Manager / Sales Team Lead

Location: Gurugram

Job Summary:

As a Sales and Bid Assistant (Grade 1), you will provide entry-level support to the sales and bid management team. Your responsibilities will include assisting in preparing bid documentation, maintaining sales records, supporting proposal creation, and coordinating with internal teams for information gathering. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn the fundamentals of sales processes and bid management.

Key Responsibilities:

o Assist in formatting, proofreading, and organizing bid/proposal documents..

o Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and bid trackers.

o Work with internal teams (technical, finance, legal) to gather inputs for proposals.

o Support basic research on competitors, customers, and opportunities.

o Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing presentation decks, and follow-ups.

Skills and Qualifications:

o Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred)/Graduation.

o Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

o Good written and verbal communication.

o Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

o Prior internship/project exposure to sales or bids is desirable.
