About the Role

Banking Alliances Manager

ZedPe and the Banking Ecosystem

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and strengthen long-term relationships with

    banks, NBFCs, payment aggregators, and financial institutions

    .
  • Manage

    end-to-end partner onboarding

    — documentation, due diligence, rate negotiation, compliance clearance, and approval cycles.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Product, Tech, Legal, Compliance, Risk) to ensure

    smooth partnership integration and operations

    .
  • Monitor and resolve

    daily operational, settlement, and reconciliation issues

    in coordination with partner banks and aggregators.
  • Drive

    commercial negotiations

    , partnership renewals, and performance-based rate optimization.
  • Ensure full compliance with

    RBI, NPCI, and other regulatory frameworks

    in all alliance activities.
  • Explore and establish

    new partnership opportunities

    aligned with ZedPe’s business and product expansion goals.
  • Analyze

    payment gateway performance, success ratios, and dispute management

    to improve partner efficiency.
  • Handle

    aggregator relationships

    , evaluate new PSPs, and ensure seamless integration for all payment modes (Cards, UPI, Netbanking, Wallets, etc.).
  • Prepare and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, and weekly reviews on alliance performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in

    Finance, Business, Economics, or Commerce

    (MBA preferred).
  • 3–6 years

    of relevant experience in

    Banking Alliances, Fintech Partnerships, or Payment Gateway Operations

    .
  • In-depth understanding of

    payment systems, settlement processes, chargebacks, merchant acquiring

    , and

    digital banking infrastructure

    .
  • Experience working with

    payment aggregators / acquirers

    such as Razorpay, PayU, Cashfree, PineLabs, etc.
  • Strong relationship management and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in

    Excel, PowerPoint, CRM tools, and reporting dashboards

    .
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth fintech environment with minimal supervision.
