Enabling Markets. www.rupiya.com Job Title: Banana G9 (Cavendish) Sourcing Executive - Specialist Location: Tembhurni | Savda | Burhanpur | Solapur | Nanded Department: Agri Procurement – Fruits Division Reporting to: State Sourcing Manager Experience: 2–5 years Employment Type: Full-Time | On-field | Immediate Joiners Preferred 🛠 Role Objective: As a Sourcing Executive – Banana G9, you will be responsible for on-ground procurement of the Cavendish (Grand Naine) banana variety from key banana-producing regions. You will work closely with farmers, FPOs, and aggregators to ensure steady, quality supply aligned with Rupiya.com’s quality and cost standards. 🔍 Key Responsibilities: On-Ground Sourcing: Procure Banana G9 directly from farmers, FPOs, and local traders in assigned clusters. Build a reliable base of repeat suppliers. Crop Monitoring: Visit banana plantations regularly to monitor crop readiness, disease status, and harvest timelines. Farmer Engagement: Educate farmers about market trends, pricing, quality parameters, and Rupiya’s transparent procurement system. Quality Assurance: Ensure procurement meets the standards (size, maturity, uniformity) set for domestic sales and exports. Price Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate fair prices while maintaining profitability. Finalize deals as per daily procurement targets. Coordination with Logistics: Organize timely lifting, sorting, and dispatch in coordination with the central team and 3PL partners.
