As the Bakery Manager at Salad Days, you will play a pivotal role in leading bakery operations, ensuring the production of high-quality bakery goods such as breads, pastries, and desserts. This position requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of bakery operations, and the ability to manage and inspire a team
Key Responsibilities
Prepare a wide range of bakery products, ensuring they meet high standards of taste and presentation in both individual and bulk quantities. Uphold strict quality control measures to ensure consistency and excellence in all products. Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety throughout the bakery department. Efficiently monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and reduce wastages. Ensure all necessary ingredients and supplies are readily available. Lead and mentor the bakery team, assigning tasks and providing guidance to ensure high performance and adherence to standards. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to foster professional growth. Create and manage work schedules for bakery staff, optimizing coverage and labor costs while ensuring operational efficiency. Collaborate with the Executive Sous Chef and New Product Development team to innovate and expand the bakery menu, considering current trends, customer preferences, and seasonal availability. Enforce rigorous sanitation and food safety standards, including proper food handling and cleanliness of all equipment and workspaces. Facilitate smooth operations through effective interdepartmental coordination, ensuring seamless production and delivery processes. Requirements :
A diploma or degree in Bakery or Hotel Management is required. Completion of industrial training in bakery operations is mandatory. 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in a professional bakery setting, with proven competency in managing a team. Strong baking skills and an excellent understanding of bakery operations and mise-en-place techniques. Proficiency in both Metric and Imperial measurement systems. Leadership quality with a strong attention to detail. Positive attitude and capable of handling challenging conditions.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
