JD – Backup Engineer Job title: Fresher - Backup Engineer – Fresher (Druva & Commvault) Work Location: Delhi Division/Department: Technical Support / Security Operations Requirement Severity: Immediate  Full-time  Fresher Job Overview We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated fresher to join our Backup and Data Protection team. This role will provide hands-on exposure to enterprise-grade backup solutions, specifically Druva and Commvault, and is ideal for individuals seeking to build a career in data protection and backup technologies. Key Responsibilities  Assist in configuration, monitoring, and daily operations of Druva and Commvault backup environments.  Learn and support daily backup job status checks, failure analysis, and job reruns.  Help maintain backup schedules and retention policies under the guidance of senior engineers.  Participate in backup and restore testing activities.  Document procedures, configurations, and routine tasks as per standard operating practices.  Coordinate with the L2/L3 teams for issue escalation and resolution. Minimum Qualifications  Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.  Basic understanding of backup concepts, data retention, and recovery processes.  Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.  Knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, ports, etc.).  Eagerness to learn enterprise backup tools like Druva and Commvault.  Must have own conveyance and be open to travel to client locations if required.  Good documentation skills using MS Office or equivalent tools.
