Backup Engineer

As a Backup Engineer, your role involves assisting in configuring and managing enterprise backup solutions such as Druva and Commvault. You will be responsible for monitoring and managing daily backup jobs to ensure data protection and recovery objectives are met. Additionally, you will perform data restoration and recovery tasks as required. Collaboration with IT teams is essential to ensure secure, reliable, and compliant backup operations. It is also part of your responsibilities to maintain documentation related to backup processes and incidents, troubleshoot basic issues related to backup jobs, and escalate when necessary. Furthermore, you will support Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and testing activities.
