6+ years of hands-on experience managing enterprise backup platforms (e.g., Cohesity, Dell Data Domain).
At least 3 years in designing and implementing enterprise class backup solutions for a large company
Deep knowledge of backup, recovery, and data replication technologies across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
Experience with scripting and automation (Ansible, PowerShell, Python, etc.).
Strong understanding of storage systems, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
Proven experience supporting DR scenarios and backup failover testing
Knowledge of related technologies like VMWare, Windows, Unix/Linux, and databases is preferred.
Experience with Data Protection tools like Rubrik and Commvault.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and ServiceNow Tool.
Knowledge of security principles as related to data protection and backups (e.g., encryption, air-gapped backups, immutable storage).
Excellent communication skills, troubleshooting and analytical thinking.
Self-driven and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Ability to work across teams and influence decisions.
