The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Laravel Developer to join our team. You’ll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust backend systems that power our internal and customer-facing applications. This role requires hands-on coding expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain backend services using Laravel (PHP)

• Design and manage SQL databases, ensuring performance, scalability, and security

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage code repositories with GitHub

• Work with Linux server administration, ensuring high availability and reliability

• Build and manage Dockized environments for consistent deployments

• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and business teams to deliver features end-to-end

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade legacy systems where required

• Document code, processes, and system architecture for internal knowledge sharing

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of backend development experience with PHP/Laravel

• Strong knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL and MSSQL)

• Proficiency with GitHub workflows, branching, and version control best practices

• Experience with Linux server administration (Ubuntu)

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies

• Experience with Docker containerization

• Solid understanding of REST APIs and integration with third-party systems

• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Backend Skills (in addition to Laravel/PHP/SQL)
