Backend Developer

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Node.js and MySQL Developer to join our backend development team. You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable server-side applications, managing database schemas, writing efficient APIs, and integrating with front-end systems. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js Design, implement, and optimize MySQL database schemas, queries, and stored procedures Build and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external use Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers Ensure application security, performance, and responsiveness Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Debug and troubleshoot application issues and database queries Participate in code reviews and team meetings Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+) Solid understanding of MySQL, including joins, indexes, stored procedures, and query optimization Experience building RESTful APIs Familiarity with Express.js or similar frameworks Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) Ability to write clean, well-documented, and testable code Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Preferred (Bonus) Skills: Experience with Sequelize or other ORM frameworks Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB Knowledge of Docker and microservices architecture Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms Basic understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, React/Vue) Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)
