About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Backend Developer proficient in Java to develop and maintain backend systems that power our payment platforms. You'll work on building scalable microservices and APIs, solving complex problems, and collaborating across teams to deliver robust fintech solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend systems using Java
• Build secure and efficient RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with product and engineering teams
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
• Apply Data Structures and Algorithms to solve performance-intensive problems
• Ensure backend systems are optimized for performance, reliability, and uptime
• Participate in code reviews, peer programming, and continuous architectural improvements
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues quickly and effectively
• Work in an Agile environment and contribute to sprint planning, estimations, and deliveries
• Coordinate with DevOps, QA, and infrastructure teams for seamless deployment and monitoring

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java and Golang
• Proficient in Spring Boot and microservices architecture
• Strong grasp of Data Structures and Algorithms with a focus on performance optimization
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with distributed systems
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis
• Understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, and scalable backend design
• Experience using Git, version control, and collaborative workflows
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, banking, or payment systems
• Knowledge of payment protocols, PCI-DSS standards (is a plus)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization technologies
• Understanding of API security, authentication mechanisms, and tokenization
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
