Backend Engineer

We are looking for a talented Backend Engineer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and has a strong passion for building scalable, reliable, and innovative software solutions.

What You’ll Bring (Must-Haves)

• Backend Development

  : Strong hands-on experience with

  Node.js

  (Express.js/NestJS) and

  Python

  , designing and maintaining scalable APIs and microservices.

• Databases

  : Proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB), including schema design, optimization, and performance tuning.

• CI/CD Pipelines

  : Practical experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) for automated build, test, and deployment.

• Version Control

  : Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.

• Testing & Quality

  : Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, PyTest) to ensure maintainable and bug-free code.

• Cloud Deployment

  : Experience deploying and monitoring applications in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Collaboration Skills

  : Comfortable working in cross-functional, remote teams using tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.

Good-to-Have

• Serverless Experience

  : Familiarity with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, or equivalent serverless frameworks.

• AI Integration

  : Exposure to Generative AI tools and APIs (OpenAI, LangChain, etc.) and interest in applying AI/ML to improve workflows.

• DevOps Mindset

  : Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Full-Stack Awareness

  : Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (React, TypeScript) to collaborate with UI engineers effectively.

• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate APIs seamlessly with user interfaces.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews with a fully remote team.
