Role Overview We are looking for a Backend Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems, architecting scalable systems, and collaborating in a fast-moving startup environment. You’ll work on high-impact projects in AI, automation, and data infrastructure — helping us build and maintain robust, cloud-native backends with Django at the core. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs using Django/Django REST Framework. Build and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure or AWS). Integrate third-party services and APIs for AI/ML pipelines, messaging systems, and analytics. Optimize code for performance, scalability, and reliability. Collaborate with frontend developers, data engineers, and product managers to deliver features end-to-end. Ensure best practices for code versioning, testing, CI/CD, and documentation. Contribute to system architecture and design decisions. Requirements 2–5 years of backend development experience with Django and Django REST Framework. Strong experience with cloud platforms like Azure , AWS , or GCP . Proficiency in PostgreSQL , Redis , and task queues like Celery . Experience in writing scalable, secure APIs and working with authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT). Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus). Comfort with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Experience working in an Agile environment with version control (Git). Nice-to-Haves Experience with AI/ML workflows or integrating AI APIs. Knowledge of async programming and WebSockets. Familiarity with serverless computing or event-driven architectures. Exposure to front-end integration (React, Vue.js) for API testing.
