Role Overview

Graph Database Expert

You should be able to handle everything from schema design to query optimization, graph ETL pipelines, system integration, and production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Graph Architecture & Design

• Design scalable graph schemas, data models, and relationship structures using tools like

  Neo4j, ArangoDB, TigerGraph, or Amazon Neptune

  .
• Translate business and AI use-cases into graph-based data representations.
• Build knowledge graphs to support personalization, automation, and predictive intelligence features.

Graph Development & Optimization

• Develop graph queries (Cypher, Gremlin, GSQL, AQL) with extreme performance focus.
• Optimize graph database performance, indexing, caching, clustering, and partitioning.
• Build and manage graph ETL pipelines for ingesting structured, unstructured, and streaming data.

AI & Backend Integration

• Work with AI/ML teams to support semantic search, embeddings, LLM-driven reasoning, and entity linkages via graph structures.
• Build APIs and microservices that expose graph-powered functionalities to frontend and backend applications.
• Integrate graph databases with Python, Node.js, or Go-based systems.

Data Governance & Reliability

• Implement access control, security policies, backup/restore, and monitoring for graph DB infrastructures.
• Ensure reliability, high availability, and fault-tolerant architectures for production workloads.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise

• 3–8 years of hands-on experience with

  graph databases and graph modeling

• Strong knowledge of at least one:

• Experience building

• Strong Python/Node.js skills for data integration and API development.

Nice to Have

• Experience with LLM-based reasoning layers and vector-graph hybrid search.

• Prior startup or fast-paced product environment experience.
