Job Description

Role Overview: As an Officer in the Sales department of a Manufacturing industry based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, you will be responsible for building business relationships to create opportunities for the brand by connecting with product influencers like Architects, Interior Designers, Engineers, and Contractors. You should have a deep understanding of the company's products, customer needs, and market trends to support the Sales Organization and contribute to business success in the targeted geography. Key Responsibilities: - Identify opportunities and establish relationships with product influencers to enhance brand consideration. - Generate leads from the secondary market and hand them over to the Sales Team for further follow-up, ensuring successful conversions. - Maintain high engagement levels with clients through product presentations, new product launches, and various events. - Provide support such as product recommendations, training of applicators, and issue resolution in collaboration with the Sales and Technical teams. - Stay updated on market trends and provide feedback to the Marketing team. Qualification Required: - MBA in Marketing is preferred. - Experience in Sales or Business Development is desirable. - Proficiency in Tamil and English languages. - Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. - Sound knowledge of negotiation and Marketing techniques. - Effective presentation skills. - Quick learning ability and a strong passion for sales. - Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset. - Ability to adapt and thrive in challenging environments.
